Your course project Web site is the culminating
project for CIS 211. It will bring together the coding skills you've acquired throughout the semester. Your site
will have at least 5 separate pages with original content and graphics
(you may use clip art, but your title image should be created by you).
Here's a bit of advice to help you choose a topic:
- Choose a topic that interests you.
- Stick with a subject area you already know to keep your research to a minimum.
- Make sure the topic is neither too broad nor too narrow. You should be able to brainstorm 3-5 subcategories or pages.
- Expanding your personal homepage is not appropriate for this assignment, nor is a site that just links to other pages.
- It's a good idea to get a little feedback from your instructor before you work on the project proposal. POst your topic idea to the Blackboard discussion.
- This project is more about CODING than content or presentation. Your pages should validate for XHTML (Transitional or Strict) and for CSS. You will need to use an external style sheet.
