Iraq population
the population in Iraq reach almost 29 million people, people lived mostly in Baghdad the capital which is in the center of the country, according to estimates that was done in 2002 and 2005 there are 4 to 6 million ppl in Baghdad city. Also the majority of people are located in the main big cities in Iraq like Mosul (in the north), Basrah (in the south) and Irbil (in Kurdistan) .
Languages
There is two official Languages Arabic and Kurdish, about 80% of Iraqis are talking Arabic as a mother tongue and about 18% speaks Kurdish language.
The Turkmen language is the third language; there is also the Aramaic language which is spoken by the minority of the Christians Armenians, Assyrian language spoken by the Christians Assyrian and finally the Chaldeans language which is spoken by the Christians Chaldeans.
English is the most commonly spoken foreign language; French language is also spoken by Iraqis.

Religions
- Muslim 93-95% (Shi'a 60%-62%, Sunni 32%-35%).
- Christian (Catholics, Orthodox, Baptist) 3-5%.
- Others (Yezidi, Mandian, Kakai, Yarisan, etc.) 1-2%.
Ethnicities
Iraq has several ethnic groups, the most numerous ones are Arabs, followed by Kurds, Turkmen, Chaldeans and Assyrians.
Other distinct groups are Armenians, Yazidi, Jehovah's Witnesses and Shabak.
