Here is a collection of acrylic paintings I have created, which is probably my favorite medium. I use acrylic often since it is a very flexible medium, but it is very easy to control, unlike water color. It also allows me to apply texture to my work, but unlike oil it is not too time-consuming. I love acrylic since it is very forgiving; if you mess up or change your mind, you have the chance to do it all over again.
I experimented with digital art when a friend of mine put Photoshop on my computer many years ago. Thanks to the internet, I was able to search for techniques and tutorials. I started with simple designs, ventured into still life, and finally entered the world of portraits. Much to my surprise, I wasn’t horrible at it and got many requests for a piece to be done by many of my family and friends.
The section contains my pieces done in ink, charcoal, and oil pastels. I do not use these mediums often. However there are a few pieces I would like to share. I want to widen my choices of medium in my future works because I enjoy learning new techniques. I also love mediums like charcoal, where you pretty much have no choice but to get dirty when you work!
