IntroductionDreamweaver allows you to include behaviors -- pre-written scripts -- in your pages. You can also insert Flash text and buttons with little effort (not behaviors, but still interesting). These notes go over the advantages and disadvantages of these features and show you how to use them. Behaviors use JavaScript, but it looks like there may be a probem getting the scripts to work with a xHTML DOCTYPE, so use a HTML TRANSITIONAL DOCTYPE when you use behaviors. Begin with the simplest technology: Rollover Buttons.
