Basic formatting has 3 parts:

  1. Page formatting - changing attributes for a whole page
    bulletbackground, text, and link colors
    bulletpage title
  2. Paragraph Formatting - changing attributes for a whole paragraph 
    bulletindent, alignment, headings, bulleted or numbered lists
    bulletparagraph breaks
  3. Text Formatting - changing attributes for a chunk of text
    bulletitalics, bold, font face, font size, text color, etc.
