Set a background, text, and link colors for a page

  1. In Page view, right-click the page, click Page Properties on the shortcut menu, and then click the Background tab.
  2. In the Background box, select a background color, text color, and link colors.

 

 

Background Images

If you like, you can also use this dialog box to add a background image.  Just check Background picture and browse to the image file.  Background images tile (repeat from left to right, then top to bottom).

For some reason, beginners tend to want to use LOUD, TACKY background images.  Try to restrain yourself, or you could end up with something like this.
