To format text, you must first select it, then click the button in the Formatting Toolbar or select Format -> Text from the menu.  Toolbar buttons let you change font face, font size, and text color.  You can also make text bold, italics, or underlined.  (Avoid underlining -- most people think underlined text is a link!)

USE COMMON FONT FACES!!!!

The client computer viewing your page must have the same font face to be able to view it.  If they don't have the font, the default will display.  (We'll discuss this in greater detail later, but for now, stick to the default font or common sans-serif fonts like Arial and Verdana.)
